Annual Ministry Celebration

As we gather to celebrate 140 years of ministry across the Midwest Conference, we’re putting the focus on our 89 churches, including yours! Our Annual Ministry Celebration this year will celebrate the diverse Communities of Jesus that are the churches of the Midwest Conference.

Special Session For lay leaders: This year we are inviting elected lay leaders (from your Board, Leadership Team, or Council) to attend Leading a Healthy Church. This seminar is reserved for elected church leaders and will provide resourcing around best practices, dealing with difficult people, creating healthy teams, and supporting your pastor(s). To help make this possible, we have arranged for a special travel reimbursement stipend. The MWC will reimburse the following amount to each church that sends two elected leaders (based on distance from your church to Centennial Covenant Church in Littleton, CO):

• Up to 100 miles each way                  $200 allowance

• Up to 250 miles each way                  $250 allowance

• Up to 400 miles each way                  $300 allowance

• Up to 550 miles each way                  $350 allowance

• Over 550 miles each way                   $400 allowance

The Annual Ministry Celebration (AMC) of the Midwest Conference is the highest constituted authority for the conference, its member churches and its institutions. Reports and decisions made at this gathering give direction and momentum to our common ministry. Join us as we celebrate the many ways God is moving through our shared ministry.
